Will they make a bold move

Maybe the biggest question for me the rest of this offseason is whether or not the front office will make a huge move to get this team over the hump.

I feel pretty confident they will find a big bat to fill the void in the lineup and bring on another starting pitcher, but will they go beyond that to put this team over the top?

That’s what I’ll be wondering and writing about for the next month-and-a-half as we approach Spring Training.

By making those two moves I mentioned, I believe this team becomes the favorite to win the NL East.

But I’m not sure if that’s enough to make this team a World Series contender.

So far AA has been unwilling to part with the team’s top prospects in order to make a big trade. At some point that will have to happen to put this team over the top.

Let’s say he’s able to sign Josh Donaldson and Alex Wood. Those are things that need to happen this offseason.

But beyond that, what if he also went out and traded for Starling Marte or Matthew Boyd?

Those are moves that could be made at that point to put this team over the top and make them a World Series contender.

That’s what I’m waiting for and hoping for as the offseason continues.

Of course, AA could always wait and make that move during the season when maybe some even bigger options are available.

But why wait? We know this team is ready to win now. It’s time to be bold and make that big move to get this team over the hump.
