NLDS

Braves vs. Cardinals

So, this is where things may get a little biased. But obviously when you poll a staff of writers who cover the Atlanta Braves and ask a bunch of Braves fans on Twitter, your going to get some positive responses from the good guys.

All 12 of our staff writers picked the Atlanta Braves to beat the Cardinals in the first round. And if they didn’t, they might not be writing for this site anymore (just kidding, we respect unbiased opinions as well).

Only one person on Twitter picked the Cardinals. Feel free to send your angry tweets to @jdo3.

Winner: Braves

Dodgers vs. NL Wild Card

If our predictions are correct, this NLDS series could be very entertaining. The pitching matchups alone will make every game must-see television.

The Dodgers have their big three in Hyun-Jin Ryu, Clayton Kershaw, and Walker Buehler, while the Nationals have their own big three in Scherzer, Stephen Strasburg, and Patrick Corbin.

With Scherzer having to pitch the Wild Card game, he’ll likely only get to pitch one game in the NLDS if they advance.

Let us not forget, though, the Washington Nationals have never won a playoff series — winning a Wild Card game doesn’t count as it’s not a ‘series.’

We had one staff writer pick the Nationals to upset the Dodgers, while 10-of-13 picked the Dodgers to win on Twitter.

Winner: Dodgers
