2. What outfielders are gonna make the postseason roster?

I don’t want to dive extremely deep into this, as we will have a postseason roster prediction piece come out the day after the Atlanta Braves eventually clinch the NL East. But it’s fair to go ahead and ponder this question.

With all of these outfielders on the roster, who will make it and who won’t?

Nick Markakis is bound to return at some point this weekend, maybe even Friday? Of course, you have Ronald Acuna. Those two are a given to make it, but what about these following players?

That list doesn’t include Charlie Culberson, who is noted as an outfielder on the Braves website.

I think it’s fair to say Ortega will not be seen on that roster. Duvall is probably the next man out. I feel strongly Matt Joyce will be on it, however.

The toughest one for me will be Ender Inciarte or Billy Hamilton. I don’t think there is room for both.

Will the Atlanta Braves trust Inciarte enough if he comes back before the end of the season and looks healthy, where they won’t carry Billy Hamilton and his ability to steal a run or two in a series? Or will they opt to go for Hamilton and his pure speed?

Time will tell, and as I said, we will go into this topic a bit deeper when the Atlanta Braves make it official. It’s still fun to go ahead and ask the question though.
