21. Chicago White Sox

As mentioned last week, it seems as if Lucas Giolito is turning the corner and is figuring it out. The White Sox can’t seem to get to .500 staying right below it at all times.

22. Seattle Mariners

I don’t know if it’s the pine tar or not, but Yusei Kikuchi is acclimating extremely well to the major leagues so far. It seems as if the Mariners have found another good import from the far east.

23. Washington Nationals

Rolling in on the end of May and all you need to know about the Nationals season is they don’t have a three-game winning streak so far. With that pitching staff, that seems almost impossible

24. Oakland Athletics

Yes, the Athletics are in last place, but they are only .5 game out of second in the AL West. The problem is the Astros are already planning a division-winning celebration.

25. San Francisco Giants

The Atlanta Braves fly out west and start a series against these Giants Monday evening. The Giants will have left-hander Andrew Suarez start that series. Hopefully Braves pitching can feast on the Giants lowly lineup

26. Toronto Blue Jays

The team is playing poorly and it seems are in for a long few seasons over the course of the next couple of years. The good news is Vladimir Guerrero Jr is finally showing off the power stroke we all knew he had.

27. Detroit Tigers

The Tigers fell off a cliff this past week as they didn’t win a game and honestly were blown out in every single one of them. The rebuild is a work in progress

28. Kansas City Royals

The promising news is the Royals do have a good young core of hitters. Whit Merrifield and Alberto Mondesi are both young studs at the plate and could be at the heart of this Royals team for many years

29. Miami Marlins

A sweep of the Mets will get you out of last place in these rankings. They have the ability now to maybe climb up another spot since the team’s next series is with the Tigers

30. Baltimore Orioles

It has to be tough to be an Orioles fan here lately.
