11. Pittsburgh Pirates

Josh Bell is playing like an All-Star right now for the Pirates and they have surpassed the Cardinals for third place in the NL Central. However, they are the only team in the division with a negative run differential.

12. Boston Red Sox

The Red Sox bounced back up in the division only to falter slightly this past week. They split a two-game series with the Rockies and but did mange to beat the Astros at least once. On the bright side, David Price will be back Monday.

13. St. Louis Cardinals

I have no idea what has happened to the Cardinals. A few weeks ago they were ranked at the top on here and now they are only 1 game above .500 and have fallen to fourth in the NL Central. Too many good players on this team to stay down for long though.

14. Arizona Diamondbacks

Surprisingly the Diamondbacks are second in the NL in runs scored, the problem has been keeping runs off the scoreboard. If Arizona can get its pitching figured out, they could still make a quest for a Wild Card berth

15. San Diego Padres

The Padres have no doubt hit a rough patch here lately going 2-7 over the team’s last nine games. They start a series versus the Diamondbacks on Monday night with emerging ace Chris Paddack on the bump

16. Los Angeles Angels

Quick question…who has the most Home runs on the Angels? I’m sure most of you said Mike Trout, but nope, its old Brave Tommy LaStella. LaStella has been a superb find for the Angels so far this year.

17. Texas Rangers

It’s the same old, same old for the Rangers as they scored 41 runs last week over the course of six games. The problem is, pitching allowed almost just as many. Not a winning formula by any stretch.

18. Colorado Rockies

Us Atlanta Braves fans were hoping the Rockies would help us out a bit this past weekend as they played the Phillies, but they didn’t as Philadelphia swept the series

19. Cincinnati Reds

I’m not sure many people outside of Cincinnati are aware of just how good Eugenio Suarez is. He is a machine at the plate and one could argue the second best third baseman in the game behind Nolan Arenado

20. New York Mets

Things are pretty lowly in Mets land these days. After a busy offseason and dreams of competing, whispers are now out about the security of Manager Mickey Callaway’s job. A sweep at the hands of the Marlins is pretty bad.
