21. Oakland Athletics-

Hasn’t been the best start for the 2018 AL Playoff team. Besides Brett Anderson, the pitching has been a disappointment. One has to wonder if the front office is regretting not pursuing more help this offseason.

22. Colorado Rockies-

Just like the Blue Jays, the Rockies have won 6 of their last 7 games – finally playing like many expected they would this season. Braves fans hope they continue to play well until Friday as they start a series with the Nationals before coming to Atlanta.

23. Detroit Tigers-

The Tigers simply cant hit. As a team they have only scored 61 runs this year and have a team average of .218. We all knew it was gonna be a long year for them though.

24. Chicago White Sox-

Suspension aside, Tim Anderson has been tearing the ball up so far this year. This far in the season and he still has a .418 batting average. Also leads the AL with 9 Stolen bases.

25. Cincinnati Reds-

One stat is all you need to know about the Reds 2019 season thus far. The highest batting average on the team belongs to Eugenio Suarez…..his average is .235.

26. Los Angeles Angels-

Weird how baseball works. Mike Trout comes back after missing a couple games and the Angels go on a long losing streak. Until this team gets pitching though, Mike Trout might be on the outside come October every year.

27. San Francisco Giants-

The Giants have a long year in front of them and maybe a long few years. The team is near the bottom of almost every statistical category and honestly…a lot of reinforcements are not in the organization.

28. Baltimore Orioles-

Baltimore is in a race of their own. That race is one to acquire the #1 draft pick in next June’s draft. They are currently losing that race, but obviously a long time to go before its settled.

29. Kansas City Royals-

After sweeping the Indians last weekend and maybe getting into the AL Central race, the Royals drop 5 of its next 7 and look to be facing a season staring up at 4 teams above them.

30. Miami Marlins-

No doubt it has been a rough start for the young Marlins, but they did just do the rest of the division a favor by beating Washington 2 out of 3.
