11. New York Yankees-

The Bronx Bombers are finding ways to stay above .500 despite the continuous rash of injuries mounting for the club. Aaron Judge is the latest to find his way to the IL, and he’s going to be there for a while, it seems.

12. Atlanta Braves-

The offense bounced back in a big way Saturday night and Sunday evening to end a week that saw the Braves bullpen hit new lows while getting swept by the Diamondbacks.

13. New York Mets-

The Mets fans and front office might still be holding their breath until Jacob deGrom is fully back and healthy, but early indications are positive for the Cy Young Winner. The Mets start a series against Philadelphia Monday night.

14. Cleveland Indians-

Good news is Corey Kluber looked sort of like the Kluber we all expect Saturday afternoon against the Braves. Bad news is the bullpen blew a big lead in the nightcap of a doubleheader and then got blown out Sunday on National TV.

15. San Diego Padres-

The Padres picked a bad week to go cold, as the Dodgers got hot and got a decent sized NL West lead. The Padres lost 5 in a row before winning Sunday. They are still over .500 and within distance of the Dodgers however.

16. Chicago Cubs-

The Cubs have played better recently and mostly due to the pitching staff pitching extremely well last week. Let’s also give a call to former Brave Jason Heyward who has really performed well this year so far.

17. Washington Nationals-

The Nationals are consistent if anything. They haven’t endured a 3 game losing streak or winning streak so far in the 2019 season.  However, they must feel a little down right now as they lost 2 out of 3 to Miami this weekend.

18. Boston Red Sox-

Just when things couldn’t get worse for the Red Sox, they got swept in a 2 game series against the broken-down Yankees. However, they then turn around and proceed to sweep the first place Rays. Maybe they are starting to play like the defending World Series Champs now.

19. Arizona Diamondbacks-

The Diamondbacks are hanging tough with a 11-11 record. While not high on power, the Dbacks have hit the ball well this year, but pitching has been the problem spot as the team has a 4.75 ERA

20. Toronto Blue Jays-

Toronto went 6-1 over the teams last 7 games and on top of that, it was against the Athletics and Twins… two teams are at least decent. Will be fun to see if the Blue Jays can disrupt the AL East race this year.  Oh, and Vladdy Jr is coming.
