Players Worth Discussing

  • Starling Marte– Hopefully the Pirates will realize they are probably better off in the long run to trade away some veterans. Marte (Much like Haniger) fits into exactly what Atlanta needs and could possibly give the Braves the best outfield in the game.
  • Madison Bumgarner– Whether you consider him an “Ace” or not really doesn’t matter because everyone should agree, he can still pitch. Only signed for 1 year, Bumgarner wouldn’t break the prospect bank.
  • Eddie Rosario– A lot of people outside of the Midwest maybe don’t realize how good Rosario is. It would be interesting to see if the Twins would even entertain the idea though the AL Central is open and Cleveland might even lose a piece or two.
  • Marcus Stroman – Stroman has battled injuries the last few years and has seen his numbers drop, but could still be a good pickup for a team that may look to buy low on him. Toronto has yet to show any signs of wanting to move him however.
