2. Lance Lynn

Lynn is yet another free agent starting pitcher that underwent Tommy John surgery (2015) and is continuing his dominance post-surgery.

An interesting fact that makes Lynn extremely valuable in my eyes is his 5 years of pitching experience in the post season. Of those 5 years, Lynn has made 2 World Series appearances:  2011 (win) and 2013 (loss).

Lynn has no stats for 2016 with him being out recovering from Tommy John surgery, but in the two seasons prior to his surgery, he posted a 2.74 ERA with a 1.262 WHIP in 2014 (30+games) and a 3.33 ERA with a 1.369 WHIP in 2015 (30+ games).

In his first season back after Tommy John, Lynn is posting a 3.01 ERA with a 1.160 WHIP through 30 games in 2017. At 30 years old, I think Lynn is in the middle of his prime, and would be a dominant pitcher for Atlanta in years to come.
