Mississippi’s offense stayed hot Monday, defeating Biloxi 10-4. Luiz Gohara got the start, going 2 innings, allowing 1 run on 2 hits and a walk, striking out 1 before he left the game due to a strained bicep.

Joey Meneses had a home run, two singles, and a walk. Ronald Acuna had a double, single, walk, and stole a base. Kade Scivicque had three singles. Keith Curcio had a home run and a triple. Travis Demeritte had a pair of singles and a stolen base. Connor Lien stole a base.

Tuesday

Mississippi’s offense went dry on Tuesday, losing to Biloxi 6-3. Matt Withrow threw a solid game, going 5 1/3 innings, allowing 2 runs (1 earned) on 2 hits and 3 walks, striking out 4.
