Thursday

The M-Braves were held to just a 2-run 8th inning, but it was nearly enough as they lost 3-2 to Biloxi. Max Povse had a solid outing, going 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits and a walk, striking out 4. Joey Meneses had two singles and a walk. Ozzie Albies had a double, single, and a stolen base.

Friday

The Mississippi offense finally showed up, but their bullpen gave up even more as Biloxi defeated the Braves 10-6 Friday. Lucas Sims made the start for the Braves, going 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits and 3 walks, striking out 5. Carlos Franco had three singles and a stolen base. Stephen Gaylor had a home run and a single. Levi Hyams had two doubles. Dustin Peterson had two singles. Joey Meneses had a double and a walk.

Saturday

The Braves didn’t get a run until the very end of the game, losing 3-1 to Chattanooga Saturday. Patrick Weigel went 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits and 2 walks, striking out 6. Joey Meneses had a home run and a single. Connor Lien had two singles. Levi Hyams and Ozzie Albies each had a single and a walk. Jake Schrader had a double.

Sunday

The Braves came back to defeat Chattanooga on Sunday 5-4. Sean Newcomb struggled, going 4 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks, striking out 6. Ozzie Albies had a triple, double, single, and a stolen base. Stephen Gaylor had two singles, a walk, and a stolen base. Joseph Odom had a double and a single. Connor Lien had a triple and a stolen base.
