The M-Braves were rained out Thursday.

Friday

Mississippi was swept out of a double header on Saturday. In game 1, Pensacola scored the winning run in the top of the 7th inning to win 1-0. Michael Mader took the hard-luck loss, going 7 innings, allowing the one run on 6 hits and no walks, striking out 5. Joey Meneses had two singles. Dustin Peterson had a double.

Once again, scoring didn’t happen until the final inning, this time until extras as the teams went beyond their scheduled 7 innings, with Pensacola winning 2-1 in 9 innings. Taylor Lewis started the game and went 3 1/3 innings, allowing just 1 hit and one walk, striking out 3. Dustin Peterson had a single and a walk. Carlos Franco had two walks. Joey Meneses and Johan Camargo each had a double.

Saturday

Mississippi won the marathon on Saturday night, defeating Pensacola in 16 innings, 2-1. No scoring was done until the final 16th inning. Max Povse started for the M-Braves and threw 8 innings, allowing 2 hits and a walk, striking out 5. Stephen Gaylor and Levi Hyams each had two singles. Ozzie Albies had a double and a walk. Dustin Peterson had a single and a walk. Joseph Odom had a double. Connor Lien had two walks.

Sunday

He was erratic, but it took starter Lucas Sims leaving the game for Pensacola to strike and finally take the game over the M-Braves 6-3. Sims went 6 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits and 4 walks, striking out 7. Joseph Odom had a double and two singles. Connor Lien and Stephen Gaylor each had a single and a walk.
