Thursday

Thursday’s game was postponed due to rain.

Friday

Gwinnett split a double header on Friday with Charlotte. In game one, the Braves took the game 7-5. Matt Wisler threw the complete 7-inning game, allowing 5 runs (3 earned) on 8 hits and no walks, striking out 4. Braeden Schlehuber had two doubles. Blake Lalli had a double and a single. Emilio Bonifacio and Brandon Snyder each had two singles, and Snyder added a steal. Reid Brignac and Kyle Kubitza each had a single and a walk.

In game 2, Charlotte put up 5 in the 2nd inning and made it stand up, defeating the Braves 5-1. Aaron Blair made the start and allowed 5 runs on 7 hits and 2 walks, striking out 1. Mel Rojas had a triple. Emerson Landoni had a double.

Saturday

Gwinnett’s game Saturday was ended early due to rain with the Braves grabbing a victory over Rochester 5-1. Jed Bradley had an excellent AAA debut, going 6 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits and a walk, striking out 9. Rio Ruiz was an absolute force at the plate, hitting two home runs and a triple. Emilio Bonifacio had two triples. Blake Lalli had a double and a walk. Sean Kazmar had a double.

Sunday

The Braves got down early Sunday and couldn’t overcome the early deficit as they fell to Rochester 3-2. Stephen Janas made a spot start and threw 4 innings, allowing 3 runs (2 earned) on 6 hits and no walks, striking out 1. Brad Roney pitched 3 scoreless innings in relief, allowing 2 hits and no walks, striking out 7. Sean Kazmar had a home run and a single. Brandon Snyder had a home run. Ronnier Mustelier had a double.
