Best Move for the Atlanta Braves for 2017?

I’m going to preface this part of the piece by pointing out that most of these moves would likely require a big move to make room for future additions

I’ve written about it.  I’ve poked fun at him.  We know already.

I don’t like any variation of the team that sports Nick Markakis next season.  And I know I’m not alone in that regard.  And especially after the addition of Matt Kemp, I believe it will be truly difficult to significantly improve the club by without clearing a bit of salary.  And you can’t do that by hosting two aging corner outfielders who are going to be defensive liabilities who are both making a bit of money, even though they might be fair contracts.  Especially when most of the Braves’ young pitchers aren’t known for blowing away batters, a better rounded defense would be extremely beneficial.  The Braves already have two young, great center fielders who are going to struggle to find playing time, so the combination of young options in the outfield and salary relief is basically a no brainier.
