Gwinnett had Thursday off.

Friday

Gwinnett went 12 innings with Louisville on Friday before losing 9-8. Chris Ellis made the start and went 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits and 5 walks, striking out 3. Emilio Bonifacio had two singles, two walks, and stole a base. Blake Lalli had a double, a single, and a walk. Mel Rojas had a double and two walks. Sean Kazmar came on initially as a pinch-hitter and ended up with a home run and a single on the night. Daniel Castro had a double and a single. Rio Ruiz had a pair of singles. Matt Lipka walked twice.

Saturday

Gwinnett scored 5 runs in the final two innings to defeat Louisville 7-6 on Saturday. Matt Wisler made the start, going 5 2/3 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits and 3 walks, striking out 5. Mel Rojas had a double and a single. Emilio Bonifacio, Tyler Flowers, Rio Ruiz, Daniel Castro, and Matt Lipka each had two singles. Kyle Kubitza had a triple.

Sunday

Louisville took a 2-1 lead into the 7th inning, and they held onto that lead throughout the 10 runs the two teams scored in the last three innings for the victory 10-4 over Gwinnett Sunday. Julio Teheran made a rehab start and went 5 innings, allowing 2 runs (1 earned) on 3 hits and no walks, striking out 5, looking very ready to head back to Atlanta soon. Emilio Bonifacio had two singles and a stolen base. Reid Brignac had a double and a single. Matt Lipka and Kyle Kubitza each had a double and a walk. Tyler Flowers had a single and a walk.
