Tuesday

In spite of two brilliant starts, Gwinnett split a double header on Tuesday. Gwinnett took game one 3-2 behind Tyrell Jenkins. Jenkins went 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks, striking out 9. Jace Peterson was the only G-Brave hitter on base twice with a single and a walk. Blake Lalli and Ronnier Mustelier each had a double.

Norfolk took game two 2-1 after an extra inning. John Gant got the start, going 6 innings, allowing one unearned run on 7 hits, striking out 9. Ronnier Mustelier had a single and a walk. Rio Ruiz had two walks. Adonis Garcia had a double.

Wednesday

Gwinnett brought their record back to .500 with a 9-2 win over Norfolk. Lucas Sims got the win in spite of shaky control, going 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits and 6 walks, striking out 7. Emilio Bonifacio had a double and 2 singles. Brandon Snyder had a double and a home run. Ozzie Albies had a single and a double. Adonis Garcia and Jace Peterson each had two singles. Matt Tuiasosopo had a double.
