AAA Gwinnett Braves (18-20)

Thursday

Gwinnett defeated Rochester 4-3. Tyrell Jenkins went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits and a walk, striking out 3. Jace Peterson had a single and a double. Matt Tuiasosopo had a single and a double. Emerson Landoni had two singles. Adonis Garcia hit a home run. Anthony Recker had a double. Emilio Bonifacio stole his 13th base.

Friday

Gwinnett was rained out against Pawtucket on Friday.

Saturday

The G-Braves split a double header with Pawtucket Saturday. In game 1, John Gant pitched a great game, going 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks, striking out 6 to earn his 3rd win. No Rome Brave was on base twice, but they did supply power as Adonis Garcia and Ronnier Mustelier each had home runs and Ozzie Albies had a double.

Pawtucket and Gwinnett had a back and forth game that ended with Pawtucket on top 8-6. Ryan Weber got the fill in start, going 3 innings, allowing 3 runs (2 earned) on 5 hits and a walk, striking out 3. Matt Tuiasosopo had a double and two walks. Ozzie Albies had a single and two walks. Adonis Garcia had a home run, walk, and stole a base. Ronnier Mustelier had a double and a walk. Emilio Bonifacio had a single and a walk. Sean Kazmar had a double.

Sunday

Gwinnett and Pawtucket got into a slug fest on Sunday with 5 home runs between the two teams and 13 earned runs between the two starting pitchers. Pawtucket came out with the win 12-7. Lucas Sims got the start, and it wasn’t pretty, going 3 1/3 innings, allowing 6 earned runs on 7 hits and 3 walks, striking out 4. Ozzie Albies didn’t homer, but he did get on base three times with a single and two walks. Matt Tuiasosopo had a double and a home run. Brandon Snyder hit a home run and a single. Adonis Garcia hit a home run in his 4th straight game and walked, driving in 3 runs. Emilio Bonifacio and Anthony Recker had two singles. Ronnier Mustelier had a single and a walk.
