Nick Markakis

Markakis is still owed (including this year) $33Mil ($11Mil per year).  He has a very team friendly deal in place and his production is about where expected.

His six doubles leads all of baseball and his gap power is back to where it should be. He’s had about three near misses with home runs.

Nick offers solid, gold glove caliber defense and above average consistency at the plate. The question for Markakis is the same as Garcia. What kind of return can Markakis generate?
