It seems that the Atlanta Braves have emerged as the speculated “third team”. Earlier today the Marlins and Dodgers had a trade in place for Mat Latos.
Trade talks were on hold this afternoon when a hangup emerged as speculation grew over a possible third team being involved. It now has been revealed as to whom this third team is. According to FoxSports’ Ken Rosenthal, Atlanta is the third team involved in the trade discussions.

Either way it goes, it’s bound to be an exciting next few hours. Stay tuned as the party is just getting underway.
Braves beat writer Mark Bowman states that there is no known details as to whether this rumor is true or not, and if it is, he does not know the player potentially involved.
