Best Honeymoon Ever, Review

On the way to Cleveland, we took time to check out the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and I have to say that having the total history of the game of baseball in Cooperstown is so much more fun to me (and to my wife especially!). Canton has a better multi-media experience, but because it’s focused only on the professional football history, it misses out on the history of the game before the professional game.

14 days, 10 stadiums, 10 games. We were blessed to have no rain outs on the trip, and we were very lucky to have such a great bus full of people to enjoy the trip with. My wife and I were 2 of the 3 youngest people on the trip, but we really enjoyed meeting a number of people on the trip.

Special thanks go to Steve from WNAX who set up the trip for us and was our guide on the trip. He worked hard to ensure everyone had a great trip. Also, special thanks to our bus driver Bruce. He did an excellent job with our crazy late-to-bed, early-to-the-road schedule!

Last, but certainly not least, we were presented with one sad situation on the trip. One of our fellow travelers fell ill in New York City, and we learned on the final day of the trip that he had passed away in New York with his family around him. He was a bright spot on the trip, entertaining my wife as he and his wife sat right behind us on the bus. He was a load of fun to chat with as we went from place to place on the trip, and I enjoyed spending time on the bus with him in Boston. Rest in peace, Ray!
