Help coming for the Atlanta Braves?

Short answer, yes.   Arodys Vizcaino is making his way through the Braves Minor Leagues and his 80-game suspension will be completed the end of next week.  Andrew McKirahan didn’t start serving his suspension until April 21, therefore he won’t be ready to come back until July 21st, the 93rd game of the season.  While the Braves do not have to call up Vizzy right away, McKirahan was a rule 5 pick and either has to be on the 25-man roster, or he has to be sent back from whence he came, which was Miami.

There’s also a few good arms at AAA that are putting up good numbers. Take a look at these stats:

David Carpenter: 30.2 IP, 7.6 K/9, 4.1 BB/9, 0.88 ERA

Ryan Kelly: (2 Levels) 30.1 IP, 7.7 K/9, 3.6 BB/9, 1.19 ERA

Ryan Weber: (2 Levels) 45 IP, 6.2 K/9 , 1 BB/9, 1.80 ERA
