Which of the Atlanta Braves are continuing the downward trend?

Pitchers

1. Juan Jaime– Has been said time and time again that “if he could just harness control he’d”…blah blah blah.  Well, unfortunately for him, he isn’t harnessing control. He gave up 3 hits and 3 walks in 0.2 IP.  He can strike out and walk the bus on any given night, and that just doesn’t work in the MLB.

2. Matt Capps– Although he recovered a bit his last time out, Matt’s velocity has still not gotten to where it once was and it’s likely the shoulder ailments that’s held him down in the past have stolen 4-5 MPH.

3. Jose Veras– Jose, in the mold of Juan Jaime (or vice-versa) can sit ’em down or load ’em up, and he needs to buck the latter trend if he’s going to make it in the Braves bullpen, a bullpen that really takes pride in not allowing free passes.  Veras has allowed 4 walks in 1.2 innings of work.
