Atlanta will look to continue its World Series contending form against the Giants with Max Fried taking the mound against converted reliever Ryan Walker, who has dazzling metrics in his first 10 big league starts. Can he keep it up against the best offense in baseball?

Walker has been stellar in his rookie season, posting a 2.14 ERA, but I believe he is in for some harsh regression as he is posting an unsustainable 86% left on base rate this season, something that is sure to come to ahead against a Braves lineup that has a blistering .889 OPS this month.

While Walker has avoided trouble so far, I don't believe it will keep up. Looking further, he has allowed a home run to fly ball rate of over 11% and is overly reliant on his strikeout ability (nearly 11 per nine innings). However, this is an Atlanta lineup that strikes out at the fifth lowest rate in the big leagues.

As Max Fried continues to work himself into playoff form after an injury riddled season, I'm going to opt to focus on the Braves offense that should tee off against Walker, who is due to take a step back with more teams getting to see him.
