St. Louis Cardinals

I have said it before on here, but you have to give the Cardinals a little bit of credit as they continuously move higher priced veterans off the team and have younger cheaper players adequately replace them.

With that being said, I have located a few players on the roster who could be ending their time with the red birds and also could be of value to the Atlanta Braves.

  1. Andrew Miller–  A few years ago, Andrew Miller was the hottest relief option in the game. While he has cooled off some since, he is still a great relief option and player that I am sure the Atlanta Braves would have no problem attaining if the price was right.
  2. Dexter Fowler– A high priced player who the Cardinals would probably love to move in the right deal. Fowler is an Atlanta native and if the Cardinals ate enough cash, maybe the Braves would bite and see if a Fowler/Duvall platoon would be a favorable idea for the club to pursue?
  3. Paul Dejong– Another option that could replace Camargo if the Braves were to elect to go that route. Personally, I think Dejong is more valuable than Camargo especially if we are only talking for the 2021 season. Dejong is a little jeckyl and hyde, but when he is on, he could also possibly give Riley a run for the third base job as well.
