Miami Marlins

The Miami Marlins were the team that surprised the most in the abbreviated 2020 shortened season and eventually made the playoffs before exiting via our Atlanta Braves. They have a up and coming team with an abundance of youth. These are the three players with the most use for the Braves though.

  • Jesus Aguilar– Aguilar is a big strong first baseman. Yes I know that Freddie Freeman still resides in Atlanta and is obviously not being replaced, but Aguilar could be a great bench bat and fill in for when Freddie needs a day off. Aguilar could also be the Atlanta Braves DH in American League games if Ozuna is not brought back onto the team.
  • Garrett Cooper– Much of the same said above applies here to Cooper as well. Garrett Cooper could also play a little outfield as well though and give the outfield trio a break here and there. Coming to Atlanta would be a coming home event somewhat for Cooper as he played his college ball at Auburn University.
  • Lewis Brinson

    – Once, Brinson was one of the top prospects in the game and was possibly the headliner in the Yelich deal a few years ago. He has not lived up to the hype thus far, and maybe the Marlins are ready to move on? His speed and defense ability could make him a late inning piece for the Braves.
