It’s going to be tough to score runs in this series for the both teams. The Atlanta Braves must find ways to advance runners and bring them in at a much better clip than they have so far.

Before the 9th inning on Monday, the Atlanta Braves had left 10 men on bases during the game.

I know this offense, and really the entire game now is built on majestic 450 foot plus home runs, but at this point, you got to find ways to score runs any way you can.

One other thing I would love to see is more aggressive baserunning and stealing in particular. It’s not talked about much, but this Atlanta Braves team has tons of speed with the likes of Ronald Acuna, Ozzie Albies, Dansby Swanson, Cristian Pache, and especially if Ender Inciarte is back on the club Tuesday.

Force the issue and see if the Dodgers will make some mistakes and perhaps you can earn a cheap run or two over the course of this series?

Game two is going to be played on Tuesday late afternoon and the Atlanta Braves will send young phenom Ian Anderson to the mound to take on Dodgers veteran Clayton Kershaw. Kershaw is due for a annual bad playoff outing so hopefully it comes in game two against the Atlanta Braves.

Let’s hope Tuesday is not the first 2020 playoff loss for this Atlanta Braves team.

I hope we are back on here tomorrow night talking about a 2-0 series lead and being halfway to the Atlanta Braves World Series visit since 1999.
