3. If this is the Dansby we get this year…

For the second night in a row Dansby Swanson launched a home run. For the third straight game, he knock in at least 1 run. Year in and year out, we have pleaded for it to be the year that the former number 1 overall pick Dansby Swanson puts it all together, so far in 2020, we have gotten that plus more.

No one will tell you Dansby is a terrible player, he just unfortunately has the label of number 1 pick. Combine that with Alex Bregman being the pick right behind him, Dansby just has an insane amount of hype to live up too.

His defense has improved year in and year out, and oh….that’s another thing. His defense will never be that shortstop we traded away, but it should not have to be. It’s just fine the way it is.

Lastly, no one is more clutch on this team than perhaps Dansby Swanson. Remember it was his hit, that put us on the comeback against the Cardinals last October. It was his hit Saturday that drove in the go ahead run. It was his hit that completed the big comeback against the Marlins last year.

Perhaps we should all just enjoy the Dansby we have.

dark. Next. Braves not liking Florida so far

That wraps up this ugly night in Tampa for the Atlanta Braves. The same two teams will square off again on Tuesday, Here’s to hoping the outcome will be different.
