Clint  Frazier

How about bringing a Georgia native back home to see if he can become the superstar many thought he would be after being taken fifth overall in the 2013 MLB Draft?

Clint Fraizer is 25 years old and really doesn’t have a spot in the New York Yankees outfield.

MLBTR ranks him ninth on their list, and I think there is a very good chance he gets moved this offseason.

Over parts of three seasons with the Yankees, he has a career average of .254 with 16 home runs and an OBP of .308.

He was a top 50 prospect for years after being drafted. Fraizer has a career slash line of .272/.352/.460 in over seven Minor League seasons.

In 2016, his last full season in the minors, he hit .263 with 16 home runs, 75 runs scored, and 13 stolen bases in 119 games.

He’s really never been given a fair shot at the big league level with the Yankees.

The Braves could give him that chance if they swallow their pride and let Adam Duvall go and let Nick Markakis become the bench player he is.

I think if given a full-time job Frazier could hit .250-.260 with 20-25 home runs and have an OPS of .750.

He’s also still pre-arbitration eligible and is under team control for four more seasons.

I really like the upside play of trading for Frazier, and the more I think about it, the more I wish the Braves would make it happen.
