Atlanta Braves

Don’t freak out Braves fans, I’m doing this in alphabetical order. The defending National League East champs return a lot of young players as they continue to build towards the future.

2018 Record: 90-72

Notable Additions: Brian McCann and Josh Donaldson

Notable Losses: Kurt Suzuki and Anibal Sanchez

The Atlanta Braves didn’t do much this offseason, but they have a lot of young talent that the front office is ready to see compete at the Major League level.

It’s funny that both of the notable losses for the Braves this offseason went to the Washington Nationals. We’ll see how that plays out for the division rival.

The Braves have already dealt with a lot of pitching injuries in Spring Training. The biggest question mark for Atlanta entering the season will be the starting rotation and have their young arms transition to the big leagues.

Another big question will be the backend of the bullpen — unless they sign Craig Kimbrel soon. The bullpen as a whole has some good arms, but there isn’t a lot of experience in closing games.

The offense for the Braves should be fine with a two-four that includes Donaldson, Freddie Freeman, and Ronald Acuna. All three have the ability to put up MVP caliber numbers.
