Atlanta Braves: The Front Office Might Be Lazy, But Don’t Sleep on This Team
These Kids Aren’t Scared
I say this in a very good way, but these kids in the rotation have a youthful ignorance to them.
It’s kind of like what we saw from Acuna and Albies last year. They just came up, played the game, and had fun.
While I still wish we had another veteran arm to help these kids along, Julio Teheran could serve that roll.

But I think we’ll see a lot of these young pitchers come up and just throw the baseball.
We saw it some last year with guys like Mike Soroka and Touki Toussaint. They weren’t scared of the stage, they just threw the baseball and let their talent play.
We’ve heard about all of these great arms in the Atlanta Braves system for years, and now it’s time to see what all the hype was about.
Just like with the lineup, the talent is there. All of these pitchers have great stuff, and there is a reason they’ve all been ranked as top 100 prospects.
Bryse Wilson, Kyle Wright, Max Fried, and Touki Toussaint have all impressed in Spring Training.
All of those pitchers have had a taste for the big leagues, so I don’t think they’ll be scared or intimidated this season.
As much as it pains Braves fans to see the front office sit on their checkbook, there is a reason why. They believe these kids are going to be great, and I believe this team will be as well.
