AAA Gwinnett Braves (39-38)

Monday

Gwinnett used an offensive explosion to down the Toledo Mud Hens on Monday, 11-4. Lucas Sims got the start, going 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits and a walk, striking out 11.

Carlos Franco had the big stick for the G-Braves, swatting two home runs and two singles. Ozzie Albies had a triple and two singles. Xavier Avery had two doubles and a walk. Kyle Kubitza had two singles and a walk. Dustin Peterson and Rio Ruiz each had two singles.

Tuesday

Toledo stifled the Gwinnett bats on Tuesday, defeating the Braves 5-1. Matt Wisler went 5 1/3 innings, allowing 4 runs (2 earned) on 10 hits and no walks, striking out 3.

Matt Tuiasosopo and Sean Kazmar each had two singles. Xavier Avery had a double. Anthony Recker had a triple.

Wednesday

Toledo walked off with a win over Gwinnett 5-4. Aaron Blair made the start, going 5 1/3 innings, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits and 3 walks, striking out 4. Akeel Morris had 2 2/3 hitless innings, allowing one walk and striking out 3.

Rio Ruiz had a home run and a single. David Freitas had a double and a walk. Emerson Landoni had two singles. Matt Tuiasosopo had a single and a walk. Ozzie Albies had a home run. Xavier Avery stole a base.
