AAA Gwinnett Braves (34-30)

Monday

Gwinnett was off on Monday.

Tuesday

Gwinnett’s offense came out strong from a day off, defeating Toledo 7-1. Patrick Weigel went 7 scoreless innings, allowing 2 hits and a walk, striking out 5.

Ozzie Albies had a triple, a double, and a walk. Jace Peterson had two singles and a walk. Dustin Peterson had a double and a single. Kyle Kubitza had a double.

Wednesday

Gwinnett scored 4 runs in the top of the 9th to steal a victory from the jaws of defeat against Toledo by a score of 5-4. Kris Medlen made the start, going 6 innings, allowing 3 runs (2 earned) on 7 hits and a walks, striking out 2.

Ozzie Albies had a big day, with a double, two singles, and two stolen bases. Xavier Avery had a single, a walk, and a stolen base. Kyle Kubitza and Carlos Franco each had a single and a walk. Jace Peterson stole a base.
