Mississippi once again found itself in an early scoreless duel, but Pensacola blew open the game to win on Monday 8-1 over the M-Braves. Max Fried went 6 innings, allowing 5 runs on 3 hits and 4 walks, striking out 5.
Luis Valenzuela had a triple and a single. Connor Lien had two walks.
Tuesday
Pensacola shut down the M-Braves offense again on Tuesday, defeating Mississippi 5-0. Luiz Gohara went 4 1/3 innings, allowing 3 runs on 3 hits and 4 walks, striking out 3.
Dylan Moore had a walk and a single. Connor Lien had a stolen base.
Wednesday
The Braves were tagged by Montgomery for an 11-1 loss on Wednesday. Tyler Pike struggled to find the zone in his first game with the M-Braves, going 3 1/3 innings, allowing 4 runs on 3 hits and 5 walks, striking out 4.
