AAA Gwinnett Braves (23-21)

Monday

Gwinnett had Monday off.

Tuesday

Gwinnett scored 3 in the first and held on to defeat Buffalo 6-5 on Tuesday. Sean Newcomb struggled in the game, going 4 runs with 3 runs allowed on 3 hits and 6 walks, striking out 6.

Ozzie Albies had a double, three singles, and a stolen base. Johan Camargo had a double and two walks. Dustin Peterson had a double and a single. Carlos Franco had two walks. David Freitas had a home run. Lane Adams slapped a double.

Wednesday

Gwinnett held on through a furious 7th inning Buffalo rally to win 4-3 Wednesday. Patrick Weigel went 6 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits and 3 walks, striking out 5. Mauricio Cabrera had two perfect innings to pick up the save.

Xavier Avery had a double and a single. Carlos Franco had a home run and a walk. Sean Kazmar had two singles.
