The Braves tied the game in the bottom of the 3rd and then took it over from there, defeating Mobile on Monday 9-4. Patrick Weigel got the start, going 5 innings, allowing 3 runs (2 earned) on 5 hits and a walk, striking out 8.
Travis Demeritte had a big game, with a home run, a double, and a single. Carlos Franco had a home run, a single, and a walk. Keith Curcio had two singles, a walk, and a stolen base. Luis Valenzuela and Kade Scivicque each had two singles. Connor Lien had two walks.
Tuesday
Mississippi hit well and held down Mobile’s offense to win 9-1. Kolby Allard went 6 innings, allowing one run on 3 hits and 2 walks, striking out 3. Ronald Acuna had a home run, two singles, and a stolen base. Travis Demeritte had a home run, single, and a walk. Kade Scivicque had a double and a single. Luis Valenzuela had two singles. Wednesday
On Matt Withrow’s worst start of the year, Mobile defeated Mississippi 6-5. Withrow was simply off on his location all day, going 4 1/3 innings, allowing 6 runs on 9 hits and 4 walks, striking out 4. The Braves bullpen tried hard to pick him up, but the offense fell short in their rally as Jesse Biddle and Bradley Roney combined for 4 2/3 innings, no runs allowed, 3 hits, no walks, and 3 strikeouts.
Ronald Acuna had a big day, with a home run, two singles, a walk, and a stolen base. Sal Giardina had two singles. Luis Valenzuela had a double and a walk. Carlos Franco and Keith Curcio had a single and a walk. Curcio also stole a base. Connor Lien stole his 8th base of the season.

Daytona put up 2 runs in the first inning and made it hold up behind tremendous pitching from Vladimir Gutierrez, defeating Florida 2-1. Luiz Gohara was the tough luck loser, throwing an electric game in the loss, going 4 1/3 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits and 3 walks, striking out 9. Jacob Webb went 2 2/3 innings without allowing a hit or run, walking two and striking out 5.
Braxton Davidson had two walks. Alex Jackson had a double and a walk. Ray-Patrick Didder had a stolen base. Anfernee Seymour had a steal.
Wednesday
The Fire Frogs scored often as they put up a crooked number in 5 separate innings, finishing with a 14-2 victory over Daytona. Drew Harrington was the beneficiary of the run support, going 5 innings, allowing 2 unearned runs on 6 hits and 2 walks, striking out 6.
Carlos Castro had a game for the ages with three home runs and two singles, driving in 8 of the team’s runs. Austin Riley had a double, single, and two walks. Alex Jackson and Omar Obregon each had two doubles and a walk. Anfernee Seymour had three singles. Tyler Neslony had a double and a walk. Wigberto Nevarez had a single, walk, and a stolen base.
