Monday
Tennessee swept Mississippi in both games of a double-header on Monday. In game 1, Max Fried struggled out of the gate and never could really recover as the M-Braves fell 6-3. Fried went 4 innings, allowing 6 runs on 7 hits and 3 walks, striking out 6.
Travis Demeritte had a double and a single. Keith Curcio, Carlos Franco, and Connor Lien each had a double. Dylan Moore stole a base.
In game two, Mississippi took a 6-2 lead, but could not hold it, losing 7-6. Mike Soroka got the start and went 5 2/3 innings, allowing 4 runs on 9 hits and no walks, striking out 6.
