Gwinnett had Monday off

Tuesday

Durham defeated Gwinnett 6-2. Luke Jackson went 4 2/3 innings, allowing 5 runs on 7 hits and 4 walks, striking out 4.

Johan Camargo had three singles. Mel Rojas, Jr. had two singles. Matt Tuiasosopo had two walks. Rio Ruiz had a single and a walk. Ozzie Albies had a home run.

Wednesday

Gwinnett jumped out to an early 4-1 lead, but they couldn’t hold it, and Durham took the victory 5-4. Lucas Sims made the start, going 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits and no walks, striking out 7.

Mel Rojas, Jr. had a double and a single. Ryan Howard had a home run. Xavier Avery had a triple.
