Monday
Mississippi’s bats were quiet on Monday as they lost 2-1 to Biloxi. Patrick Weigel made his first AA start, and he fared well, going 5 1/3 innings, allowing 2 runs on 2 hits and 4 walks. striking out 7. Ozzie Albies had a triple and two singles. Johan Camargo had two doubles and a walk. Connor Lien had a triple and a single. Carlos Franco had a pair of walks.
Tuesday
Mississippi was shut out on Tuesday against Biloxi, losing 2-0. Sean Newcomb had a very solid start, going 6 scoreless innings, allowing 2 hits and 4 walks, striking out 5. Jake Schrader and Joey Meneses each had a double.
Wednesday
The M-Braves offense once again was shut out on Wednesday, losing to Biloxi 5-0. Michael Mader had an exceptional game, going 7 innings, allowing 1 run on 2 hits and a walk, striking out 5. Jake Schrader walked 3 times. Willians Astudillo had a double.
