AAA Gwinnett Braves (55-69)

Monday

Charlotte flexed their offensive muscle over Gwinnett on Monday, defeating the Braves 8-4. John Gant went 5 innings for Gwinnett, allowing 6 runs on 9 hits and 2 walks, striking out 1. Blake Lalli had a double and two singles. Sean Kazmar had a double and a single. Emilio Bonifacio had a triple, two walks, and two stolen bases. Rio Ruiz had two walks. Reid Brignac and Mel Rojas each had a stolen base.

Tuesday

Gwinnett jumped out early, but Charlotte hammered away to defeat the Braves 9-5. Kanekoa Texeira went 5 innings, allowing a run on 7 hits and 3 walks, striking out 2. Blake Lalli had a double and three singles. Reid Brignac had a double, single, and a walk. Emilio Bonifacio and Brandon Snyder each had a double and a single. Rio Ruiz had a single and a walk.
