Monday

After 6 1/2 innings of scoreless baseball for both sides, Gwinnett opened the scoring and finished on top over Charlotte on Monday 4-3. Aaron Blair made the start, going 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 4 hits and a walk, striking out 7. Ronnier Mustelier had a double, single, and a walk. Michael McKenry had a home run and a single. The Braves found themselves in extra innings, a common place this season, though they ended up on the short end of a walk-off in the 11th by Pensacola, losing 4-3. Jed Bradley had a very good start, going 5 2/3 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits and 3 walks, striking out 8. Dustin Peterson had three singles. Joseph Odom had a home run and a single. Stephen Gaylor had a double. Connor Lien stole his 7th base.

Tuesday
