Myrtle Beach overcame Carolina’s early lead to defeat the Mudcats 9-5. Ryan Clark made the start, going 5 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits and a walk, striking out 4. Isaias Tejeda had three singles. Joseph Daris had two doubles. Luis Valenzuela had a double and a single. Braxton Davidson had a triple. Keith Curcio had a double.

Tuesday

Carolina used a 5-run 8th inning to defeat Myrtle Beach 8-6. Enderson Franco made the start, going 5 1/3 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits and 4 walks, striking out 3. Jordan Edgerton had a home run, three singles, a walk, and a steal. Erison Mendez had a double and two singles. Keith Curcio had a triple, single, and 2 walks.
