AAA Gwinnett Braves (42-56)

Monday

Gwinnett fell to Syracuse on Monday 7-4. Roberto Hernandez made his debut in the system, throwing 4 2/3 innings, allowing 5 runs (4 earned) on 6 hits and 2 walks, striking out 4. Omar Infante had a double and a single. Ronnier Mustelier and Rio Ruiz each had two singles. Emilio Bonifacio and Reid Brignac each had a double. Mel Rojas, Jr. had a single, walk, and stole a base.

Tuesday

In spite of a valiant come back effort in the ninth, the Braves fell to Syracuse 4-3 on Tuesday. Casey Kelly made the start and went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 9 hits and a walk, striking out 3. Blake Lalli had 3 singles. George Kottaras hit a pinch hit home run. Ronnier Mustelier had a pinch hit double.

Wednesday

Gwinnett had a big 9th inning, scoring 2 to defeat Syracuse 3-2. Chris Ellis got the start and went 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits and 3 walks, striking out 3. Emilio Bonifacio had two singles and two stolen bases. George Kottaras and Blake Lalli each had a single and a walk. Mel Rojas, Jr. hit a home run.
