AAA Gwinnett Braves (35-45)

Monday

The Braves snapped Indianapolis starter Tyler Glasnow‘s scoreless streak in the first inning, but they couldn’t manage enough runs as they fell 8-2. Manny Banuelos got the start, but he only lasted a single inning, giving up 5 runs (4 earned) on 6 hits, striking out 1. Ryan Weber pitched in long relief, allowing 2 runs (1 earned) over 4 innings on 5 hits and a walk, striking out 6. Reid Brignac had two doubles. Matt Tuiasosopo had a single and a double. Anthony Recker had two walks.

Tuesday

Gwinnett scored twice in the first two innings and made it stand up, defeating Indianapolis 2-1. Chris Ellis got the start and was once again erratic, allowing only one run over 4 1/3 innings, but on 4 hits and 6 walks, striking out 6. Blake Lalli had a double and a walk. Ozzie Albies had a single, a walk, and a stolen base. Ronnier Mustelier had a single and a walk.

Wednesday

Gwinnett was shut out on Wednesday by Indianapolis 5-0. Aaron Blair got the start, going 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits and 4 walks, striking out 5. Reid Brignac had two singles. Matt Lipka stole a base.
