Instead of starting him back in Biloxi the Brewers decided to move him from starting to the bullpen and simultaneously promote him to AAA Colorado Springs to start 2015. Whether it was the altitude or the change of roles, Bradley’s time in Colorado wasn’t what the Brewers expected.

He appeared in 20 games there including one start, threw 26 innings and though he kept his BB rate steady at 3.5 per nine his K/9 dropped slightly – 7.3 to 5.2 – he posted a huge 9.00 ERA, 2.115 WHIP.  In June the Brewers sent him back to AA.

At Biloxi he rebounded throwing 32 2/3 inning over 23 games with a 3.31 ERA and 1.194 WHIP as his K rate increased to 8.5 and his BB rate dropped to 2.8. He started this season in Biloxi again but the success of 2015 vanished as his ERA jumped to 6.20 and his whip to 1.581 in 24 2/3 innings over 17 games..

Bradley is a native of Huntsville and a graduate of Georgia Tech so coming to Atlanta is a sort of homecoming. Coincidently Biloxi was hosting the Mississippi Braves when the trade was announced so he just emptied his locker and walked across the field to introduce himself.

Bradley grew up a Braves fan so joining the organizations is a bit of a dream come true.

Almost ever player addition includes a subtraction, in this case it was Danny Burawa
