Good match for Teheran and Markakis
The Deal: The Royals are in their precious window, their farm system is thinning out, and they could be desperate to continue their run. They have needs in both the OF and SP
- Braves get C Chase Vallot, 3B Hunter Dozier, LHP Foster Griffin, and OF Brett Eibner
- Royals get Julio Teheran and Nick Markakis
Trade Partner 3: Boston Red Sox
Good match for Teheran
The Deal: Clay Buchholz is a good pitcher that just can’t seem to put up good numbers and the Boston rotation is razor thin right now. I’m sure they would love to plug Teheran into the middle of that rotation.
- Braves get: C Blake Swihart, Clay Buccholz, 3B Michael Chavis, OF Rusney Castillo
- Red Sox get: Julio Teheran and Hector Olivera.
Trade Partner 4: Milwaukee Brewers
Good match for Teheran
The Deal: Like the Braves, the Brewers are rebuilding and will likely have to do it without catcher Jonathan Lucroy, who will be a free agent after the 2017 season. Also, the Brewers are likely debating whether to sell high on Ryan Braun, who has either re-discovered his old self, or re-discovered how to hide illegal supplements from testing.
- Braves get: C Jonathan Lucroy and OF Ryan Braun
- Brewers get: Julio Teheran, John Gant, Hector Olivera, Touki Toussaint.
