Sunday

Mississippi starter Rob Whalen got to the 6th inning scoreless, but he ran into trouble in the inning, allowing all the runs Jacksonville needed to defeat the M-Braves 3-1. Whalen totaled 5 1/3 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits and 3 walks, striking out 3. Whalen didn’t allow a single extra base hit in the start.
