Gwinnett couldn’t put together a single run against Columbus’ Mike Clevinger, losing 4-0. Williams Perez got the start, going 5 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits, 3 walks, and striking out 5. Tyler Moore was the only Braves hitter with multiple hits, collecting a single and a double. Reid Brignac had two walks. Ronnier Mustelier had a double. Emilio Bonifacio stole two bases to bring his season total to 9.

Tyrell Jenkins threw a gem on Tuesday, and the offense gave him just enough to pull off a 3-1 win over Toledo. Jenkins went 6 scoreless innings, allowing 5 hits and 2 walks, striking out 3. Reid Brignac had two singles and a walk. Emilio Bonifacio had a single and a double. Blake Lalli had a double.
Wednesday
Gwinnett got a solid performance from Kanekoa Texeira filling in the rotation to win 5-1 Wednesday over Toledo. Texeira three 5 scoreless innings, allowing only a single hit and a single walk, striking out 2. Reid Brignac had three singles. Ryan Lavarnway had two singles and a walk. Rio Ruiz and Brandon Snyder each had two singles. Matt Tuiasosopo had a double and a walk. Robert Whalen pitched a very good game on Monday, but Mississippi simply could not score a single run to support him, as the M-Braves lost 5-0. Whalen went 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits and 2 walks, striking out 5. Only Ozzie Albies and Dian Toscano had hits for the Braves.

Mississippi scored some solid runs on Tuesday to defeat Biloxi 9-3. Brandon Barker pitched an exceptional game, throwing 6 scoreless innings, allowing only 2 hits and a walk, striking out 4. Ozzie Albies had three hits, including his first home run of the season and a double. Dustin Peterson had a home run and a double. Johan Camargo had a single, a double, and a walk. The make up of the Tuesday game was a 4-2 victory for Rome. Max Fried went 2 scoreless innings, allowing a single hit and two walks with no strikeouts. He had come out to face the first batter of the third and walked him before the game was delayed a day. Trevor Belicek took the hill Wednesday in the make up game, and he combined with two fellow relievers go to 7 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 7 K. Ray-Patrick Didder collected two hits, including a double. Austin Riley and Jonathan Morales each had doubles. Alejandro Salazar had a stolen base.
The regularly scheduled game was simply a showcase of Ricardo Sanchez‘s brilliance as Rome won 2-1. Sanchez went 5 scoreless innings, allowing 3 hits and a walk, striking out 5.
