Rookies of the Year

NATIONAL LEAGUE:

Pretty much just two choices here… and Seager is the obviously choice of this crew.  I was banking on Olivera’s Spring performance to mash mediocre pitching – especially now that he gets to see pitchers multiple times in the same game.  So far, that hasn’t translated in this first week of the season, but the better pitching has been on display.

Meanwhile, Trevor Story is hitting .368 with 7 hits… 6 of them out of the park.  Who saw that coming??

AMERICAN LEAGUE:

Aside from Buxton, there’s a lot of options here as well… and experience suggests that this award could be handed out to somebody completely different from any of our guesses.

As with all of these matters, we’d like your feedback as well – give a guess and tell us why you think so…. and then we’ll all find out together how we did at years’ end.
