Freddie Freeman, Jason Frasor hit the DL

Yes, we were expecting this – oblique injuries tend to demand such an action.  But here’s the official word:

Yes – there was more:  Jason Frasor was also added.  So last night’s offensive heroes will have to muddle through without two of their better weapons:  Freeman and Andrelton Simmons.

Speaking of Simba:

Terdoslavich will likely back up first base and perhaps the outfield, while Kelly will support the bullpen – a bit tired from last night’s festivities.

No further word on the severity of the injuries, but clearly Freddie will be out for at least 2 weeks, while Simmons has not been placed on the DL…. and it sounds like that won’t happen.
