Atlanta Braves, now and future, Starting Pitchers

As we all know, the Braves spent their offseason hoarding starting pitching in the Minor Leagues and the the Majors.  The old baseball proverb “You can never have enough pitching” is apparently a philosophy that the Braves believe in.  There were a flurry of moves to boost the entire organization’s pitching, from smallest mogwai to the big leage club.  Here are the starting pitchers of the Atlanta Braves organization that are already in the bigs, or have the potential to be starters of impact (front-end or middle of rotation starters) according to people smarter than me (listed from MLB club, down to single-A):

1. Shelby Miller

2. Julio Teheran

3. Alex Wood

4. Matt Wisler

5. Manny Banuelos

6. Williams Perez

7. Mike Foltynewicz

8. Max Fried (eta late 2016)

9. Daniel Winkler (although I think he ends up in the bullpen, eta 2016)

10. Tyrell Jenkins (eta 2016)

11. Lucas Sims (eta 2017)

12. Touki Toussaint (eta 2018)

13. Kolby Allard (eta 2020)

14. Mike Soroka (eta 2020)

There are likely more that could be put on this list such as Steve Janas and Alec Grosser, but still that is quite a pipeline the Braves have established. The future is bright for quite a while!
